Short is trendy!

I don't know about you, but when it comes to finding the perfect piece of clothes that will suit me perfectly, I always have trouble to find THE item. Now you probably think: why? Well, the answer is simple, I'm five foot two, so I'm just too short!!! :( *going to cry in a corner*
So for all of you out there who understand me, you probably know how it feels when your pants are too long for your legs, the tops show a little too much of your "chest" area, the dresses are too long and so on and so on. I've noticed that these last few years fashion for "short" people has become some kind of new "trend", well I just wanna say: IT WAS ABOUT TIME! ;)
I selected two sites that have a special "petite" section, with really cool pieces to find. The first site is ASOS.COM. It's a good site if you're looking for something original and trendy, and for a good price too :)
Also, what's interesting is that the shipping fees are free, so you won't have to pay anything extra.(at least for Belgium they are, but don't forget to check if you country is in the list too)
ASOS.COM
The second site is TOPSHOP, it's more or less the same as ASOS, but just a bit more expensive.
TOPSHOP.COM

So if you feel related, make sure to comment and tell me what you think about it, if you have any other clothing tips or anything else.

BANGERZ #FangirlAlert

This post will be about a young woman with whom I've grown up with, by watching her in my favorite show and by listening to her music. She has done A LOT since she first started. All grown and independent, she has been showing us these past few months her new style. All her fans (including me) have been waiting for so so long to hear her new album...BANGERZ.

Miley Cyrus hasn't stopped surprising us these past months. First with her "very" special and unexpected music video of "We Can't Stop", dancing around, partying and making sexual moves several times and...let's not even talk about the wrecking ball video (which I really like. Yeah, I know, lots of you probably think it was provocative and over the top, but like Miley said in an interview for the Dailymail, you have to look past the fact that she's naked and try to understand the whole thing. Then, her performance at the VMA's with Robin Thicke made such an impression, I think that we will not forget that performance for the next couple of years. She said in an interview that Robin and her wanted to make history, well...if that wasn't making history, I don't know what it was.
It's obvious that not everyone, I'd even say, that most people don't really like what she became, but you have to admit that we've seen worse. I'm not an expert but, correct me if I'm wrong, Madonna made a serious impression herself too back in the days when she had a provocative style too. Look who she is today?! I'm not saying that you have to be provocative to succeed, I just think that everyone should be able to be who they want to be, no matter what.

Miley has been keeping her album project  very secret since we know about it, she really wanted to surprise us all and keep us excited till the end.
As starting from today BANGERZ is available as streaming on Itunes. As a good Smiler that I am, I listened to the songs and I just LOVE it!!!!!
It's fresh, young and there are all kinds of styles. This album is a pure bomb, you can find really beautiful meaningful songs to cry, be sad or things like that. Buuuuuut, yeah, it's a big but ;), there are also crazy awesome songs to dance, to party, to go crazy and stuff like that!!!!!

Her new album is coming out on October 8th and tomorrow MTV is showing a documentary about our lovely Miley, "Miley Cyrus : the movement".

Guilty Pleasure

We all have a guilty pleasure, don't we? (don't say no, I know you all have one) You know, that one little thing that you really like, but you feel guilty about it. Well, my guilty pleasure is nail polish. Every time I enter a store with a make-up area, I always go check what nail polish colors they have, acting like a crazy addict. Everytime I buy one, I know that I shouldn't because I have so many already, but I just can't help it, I need them.
Today I wanted to show you all my (not so little) collection of nail polish. Honestly, I have so much of them, I don't remember ever actually using one until it's empty. There are all kinds of different colors and brands here.I thought I could share some of my favorites with you.

So my favorites are the O.P.I. I bought them this summer in L.A and I just love them! They don't take too long to dry and they last for at least ten days to two weeks. I must say they're a bit expensive in Belgium, but I think it's worth it if you really want it. If you still want a good nail polish, but a less expensive one, I would suggest the "2Be" collection that you can find at "Di" for example. They're also really good quality and strong-stay.

Right Now, I am wearing a gold O.P.I nail polish with a black "crack" top coat from Rimmel. I really like how it came out, it kinda makes me think of a tiger print.

I shared my nail polish collection with you all, so leave a comment here bellow and tell me what you think about it and what you like to wear as nail polish.

What I'm wearing:

- O.P.I "oy-another polish joke!" (€14,95)
- Rimmel Crack your colour/crazy top coat "black graffiti" (€6,99)

First One

The first article on this blog will be about me, so you all get to know me better. My name is Sara, I live in Belgium and I am 19 years old. I have two big passions in life.
The first one is fashion. I'm litteraly a real shopaholic, always trying to keep up with the latest fashion news in our world. I'll try to post an article once a week about anything related to fashion. It could be an "Outfit-of-the-day" post, some clothing tips I found, trends, ...
My other passion is travelling. I don't travel that much, but when I do, I do it big!
For example, my California dream came true last July. Those were the best three weeks of my life. Like I said, I love travel, but not only to enjoy the beach and a sunny wheather. What I think it's interesting about travelling is the opportunity to discover new things, new cultures and meet new people who you tought you would never meet in your life.
You'll find here not only articles about fashion and travel, but also about beauty, food and other trends, so don't miss them.
